Vinita's newly organized Friends of the Library group is
open to everyone who enjoys the library and wants to get involved in making
the library a vital part of the community for all ages. Activities will
include Book Sales, Author Talks and Book Discussions, Children's Programs,
and more. |
Vinita Public Library Foundation, Inc. is a
501(c)(3) charitable corporation which provides for the support of special
projects of the Vinita Public Library apart from the regular City of
Vinita budget. Donations are gratefully received for ongoing projects or
programs as specified by the donor. Receipts will be provided upon request. |
Nine citizens of Vinita are appointed by the City Council
as an advisory Board to set library policies, establish fees and charges,
and conduct long-range planning for the future of library services for our
community. Meetings are open to the public. If you would like to serve on
the board, please contact the library or any City Council person or sitting
board member. |
